I'm way too old for this!

OK, I'd like an explanation from anyone my age - we'll call it late 20s/early 30s - who manages to go out every weekend.

I'm obviously too old to do this anymore! Had a blast last night but boy was it strange, in a way! Went out at 9:30 - a time at which I am generally heading to bed - and stayed out at our old haunt from our university days until well past 1, at which point hubby, our designated driver, declared he had to leave or he wouldn't be any safer than me on the roads. And considering I'd probably had at least three or four pints at that point, I figured that was a pretty scary thought.

I'm paying the price for my night of revelry now though. I woke up an hour before I'd expected, around 7. Hubby was already up, sick with a cold. And I realized I was sick, too (don't worry - from a cold, not the beer... for the most part). I've now had coffee but no food, and I have a nasty headache. I'm so going to pay for this today! I'm on my own for the string of Saturday morning classes, and the kiddos better be perfectly behaved! Wish me luck! (Or wish them luck, if this headache gets any worse!)
